Important Security Notice: Critical PHP Vulnerabilities
Boylen is aware of the recent advance notice from the PHP Foundation regarding two critical security vulnerabilities, CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619.
Please refer to our knowledge portal article for the latest details and status updates.
For clients using our WebTemplate platform, the current PHP version on our WebTemplate servers does not allow us to immediately upgrade to the latest patched PHP version without potentially introducing compatibility issues across the WebTemplate system and school websites.
We will therefore be applying mitigation measures at the server level to help reduce the risk while we assess the available upgrade options.
Please be aware that these mitigation measures may affect some website functionality. You may experience issues with file uploads, including:
- Being unable to upload files through the website CMS.
- Issues receiving files attached to form submissions.
We understand these limitations may cause disruptions and are working to manage the risks while maintaining website stability.
